From 1 January 2005, anybody carrying out electrical installation work in dwellings in England and Wales has been required to make 'reasonable provision in the design, installation, inspection and testing' of this work to protect people against fire or injury.
We all know that there are many cowboys in the building industry and Part P has been introduced to tighten up on electrical safety. Now all electrical installations in the home are subject to Building Regulations. Our Electricians are all highly experienced and members of the ECA and NICEIC.
